Delhi Airport (DEL) Lounges: Access, Terminals and Cards
Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) is India's busiest airport and its lounges are split across Terminal 1, Terminal 2 and Terminal 3. A lounge in one terminal cannot be used from another, so the terminal on your boarding pass decides your options.

Terminal 3 handles international departures and most full-service domestic flights, and carries the largest lounge choice. Terminal 1 is mainly low-cost domestic. Terminal 2 is used seasonally for domestic flights and has the thinnest lounge coverage.
Check the terminal printed on your boarding pass before planning a lounge visit — airline terminal allocations at Delhi change more often than most Indian airports.
Free entry with a credit or debit card
Most complimentary Delhi lounge visits come through a card benefit rather than a paid pass. Eligibility depends on the exact card variant, the number of visits left in the quarter, and in some cases a minimum spend in the previous quarter.
Save your cards once and each Delhi lounge will show whether that card is listed for free entry, so you know before you walk to the desk.
When buying access makes sense
Buy a pass when the card is declined at the desk, quarterly visits are exhausted, you are travelling with guests the card does not cover, or your terminal has no lounge your card is listed at. A purchased pass covers a single visit and does not consume your card benefit.
Common questions
- Can I use a Terminal 3 lounge on a Terminal 1 flight at Delhi?
- No. Delhi terminals are separate buildings past security, so you can only use lounges inside the terminal you depart from.
- How long can I stay in a Delhi airport lounge?
- Most lounges allow two hours per visit for complimentary and paid entries alike. Longer stays are usually charged by the hour.
